ZaiqaMap (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ZaiqaMap (“App”).

1.1 Location Information

• When you use the “Use My Location” feature, the App requests access to your device’s location to find restaurants within approximately 40 miles of your current position.
• Location data is used only in real time to perform your search and is not stored, shared, or tracked by ZaiqaMap.

1.2 Search Information

• When you enter a search term (e.g., “Indian Restaurant,” “Chinese Restaurant”) or a ZIP/Postal Code, that information is used only to perform a restaurant search using Apple Maps or other map services.
• The App does not store or share your search terms.

1.3 No Account or Personal Data

• ZaiqaMap does not require registration or a user account.
• We do not collect, store, or process personal information such as your name, email, phone number, or payment details.

2. How We Use Information

The information you provide or allow the App to access is used solely for:

• Displaying nearby restaurants based on your search query or location.
• Showing restaurant details such as name, address, and directions through Apple Maps.

We do not use your information for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third parties.

The App may use Apple Maps / MapKit or similar location services provided by Apple Inc. to perform searches and display map data. When using these services, Apple’s own Privacy Policy applies: https://www.apple.com/privacy.

4. Permissions

ZaiqaMap may request the following permissions:

• Location Access: To detect your current position for nearby restaurant searches. You can enable or disable this in your device’s Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.

5. Data Retention

ZaiqaMap does not store or retain any location or search data on its servers. All operations occur directly on your device during active use.

6. Security

Because ZaiqaMap does not collect or transmit personal data, no user information is stored externally. We rely on Apple’s secure frameworks (MapKit and Core Location) for all map and search functionality.

7. Children’s Privacy

ZaiqaMap is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any updates will be reflected by the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
